Aaron Liu
Aaron is an investor at Northzone, sat in the New York office, focusing on early-stage companies in B2B SaaS and AI/ML. His portfolio includes Black Forest Labs, CuspAI, GovDash, and others.
Prior to joining Northzone, Aaron was on the Strategy & Operations team at CloudKitchens, where he developed solutions to help restaurants succeed in the food delivery industry. Before that, he worked in investment banking at Evercore in New York.
Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas Business Honors Program.

Always making space to learn.
Where would we find you outside of work?
Trying new restaurants and bars around New York City, playing video games (current rotation: CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant), or watching Max Verstappen rack up Formula 1 world titles.
What’s a book you’d recommend?
Educated by Tara Westover. An inspiring yet heartbreaking memoir about the author’s struggle against her family to get an education. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, and I found it unforgettable.
